What it’s like to work with Alison

Working with Alison feels relaxed and conversational—more like chatting with a friend than a clinical appointment. She creates an easygoing space where you can talk openly while still receiving thoughtful, focused care.

Why Pelvic Health?

Growing up surrounded by strong women, including five aunts who lived down the street and felt like second mothers to her, Alison developed an early interest in women’s health. While working at Markham Pelvic Health as a physiotherapy student, she saw firsthand the meaningful impact pelvic health care can have, and the deep sense of gratitude that comes with supporting people with pelvic floor dysfunction.

Best Fit for Clients

A great fit for first time pelvic physio patients who want to feel comfortable from the start. Her calm, steady approach is especially supportive for those who feel anxious or unsure about starting therapy.

Education

Alison completed her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy at McGill University and her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. During her clinical placement at Markham Pelvic Health, she developed a passion for pelvic floor physiotherapy.

Outside the Clinic

Outside of work, Alison enjoys jogging, exploring restaurants and cooking for her big family so feel free to give recommendations or recipes!
